Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking. By confirming a booking with Wxin Entertainment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Making Your Booking
To prepare an invoice and confirm the requirements for your event, we require the following information from the client:
-
Full name
-
Email address
-
Contact telephone number
-
Event date
-
Start and finish times
-
Event/venue location
-
Details of any sound, lighting or other equipment provided by the venue

Once these details have been received, Wxin Entertainment will issue an invoice setting out the agreed booking details and total price.

A £50 booking fee is required to secure the booking.

The requested date will be held for 24 hours from the time the invoice is issued. If the booking fee has not been received within this period, Wxin Entertainment reserves the right to make the date available to other clients.

Once the booking fee has been received, the date will be secured and removed from our availability. An updated invoice confirming the booking will then be provided to the client.

The client is responsible for checking the invoice carefully and notifying Wxin Entertainment promptly of any errors or omissions.
2. Payments
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the event date.

If the outstanding balance has not been received by this deadline, Wxin Entertainment reserves the right to treat the booking as unpaid and may decline to provide the services. Any applicable consequences will be subject to the client's statutory rights.

Payments received within 7 days of the event may be subject to a 10% late payment charge.

The final agreed invoice price is not subject to negotiation after the booking has been confirmed.

Any parking charges reasonably incurred by Wxin Entertainment in connection with the event may be added to the client's invoice.
3. Cancellations
If the client wishes to cancel a booking, they must notify Wxin Entertainment in writing, either by email or text message, as soon as possible.

Telephone cancellations will not be accepted as confirmation of cancellation. The client remains responsible for any amounts that are contractually due until the cancellation has been confirmed in writing.

Any cancellation or termination of a booking will be dealt with in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and any applicable statutory consumer rights.
4. Changes to Your Booking
Any requested changes to the booking must be made in writing.

Wxin Entertainment will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes requested before the event. However, changes may not always be possible, particularly where they affect timings, equipment, venue requirements or other arrangements already made for the event.

Changes requested on the day of the event will be accommodated where reasonably possible. Any additional charges resulting from such changes must be paid before or on the day of the event, as agreed.

Additional performance time will be charged at £25 per additional 30 minutes, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Wxin Entertainment reserves the right not to commence earlier than the agreed start time or continue beyond the agreed finish time unless this has been agreed with the client and any applicable additional charges have been paid.
5. Event Planning & Song Requests
The client is responsible for providing accurate event information and communicating any important requirements to Wxin Entertainment in sufficient time before the event.

Song requests should be submitted at least 14 days before the event date to allow reasonable time for preparation.

While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate song requests, we cannot guarantee that every requested song will be available, suitable or played during the event.

We reserve the right to decline song requests made on the day of the event where the requested music is unavailable, unsuitable for the event, or cannot reasonably be incorporated into the performance.

Where necessary, Wxin Entertainment may contact the venue before the event to discuss access, setup, performance arrangements and other practical requirements.

If we are unable to establish suitable communication with the venue and reasonably believe that this may prevent us from safely or effectively providing the service, we reserve the right to review the booking and, where necessary, decline to provide the service.
6. Equipment & Karaoke
Wxin Entertainment provides professional DJ, sound and lighting services appropriate to the agreed booking.

Our equipment and service are primarily designed for DJ and music entertainment and are not specifically designed for professional karaoke.

If karaoke is requested, Wxin Entertainment will make reasonable efforts to facilitate it where possible. However, we cannot guarantee the same audio quality or performance standards for karaoke as those provided for our standard DJ services.
7. Photography & Video
Wxin Entertainment may take photographs and/or video footage during events for promotional, marketing and social media purposes.

If the client does not wish photographs or video of the event to be used for these purposes, they must notify Wxin Entertainment in writing before the event.

We will make reasonable efforts to respect such requests.
8. Client & Venue Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is suitable for the provision of DJ and entertainment services and that any necessary permissions have been obtained.

The client must ensure that suitable and safe access is available for Wxin Entertainment to enter the venue, unload equipment, set up and leave after the event.

Safe and reasonably close parking should be provided wherever possible. Where parking is unavailable or parking charges apply, any reasonable parking costs incurred by Wxin Entertainment may be charged to the client.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue allows sufficient time and space for equipment setup and dismantling.

Wxin Entertainment cannot be held responsible for delays, interruptions or limitations caused by the client, venue, venue staff, guests or other third parties.

This includes, but is not limited to, interruptions caused by speeches, announcements, performances, presentations, shoutouts or other activities outside Wxin Entertainment's control.

Such interruptions will not automatically entitle the client to a reduction in the agreed price.
9. Breaks, Food & Refreshments
Where a booking exceeds 5 hours, the client must allow reasonable time for Wxin Entertainment to take a short refreshment break.

Music may continue during this period where reasonably possible and appropriate.

For bookings exceeding 5 hours, the client is not required to provide food or beverages unless otherwise agreed in advance.
10. Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy
Wxin Entertainment operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, discriminatory or violent behaviour.

Abuse may be verbal, written, physical or otherwise threatening in nature and may be directed towards Wxin Entertainment, its representatives, staff, contractors or equipment.

Where serious or unacceptable behaviour occurs, Wxin Entertainment reserves the right to stop providing services and/or leave the venue without further performance.

Where equipment is deliberately or recklessly damaged, lost or interfered with as a result of the actions of the client or their guests, Wxin Entertainment reserves the right to seek reasonable reimbursement for the cost of repair or replacement.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights or legal remedies available to either party.
11. Cercumstances Beyond Our Control
Wxin Entertainment will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed services. However, we cannot be held responsible for failure, delay or disruption caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

Road closures or significant travel disruption
-
Equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance and preparation
-

Other events beyond our reasonable control

Where such circumstances occur, Wxin Entertainment will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the client and find an appropriate solution where possible.
12. Liability
Wxin Entertainment will take reasonable care when providing its services and handling its equipment.

We will not be responsible for loss, damage, delay or disruption caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by the actions of the client, venue, guests or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Agreement to These Terms
By paying the booking fee and confirming a booking with Wxin Entertainment, the client acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to read and understand these Terms & Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.

These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the booking invoice and any specific arrangements agreed in writing between Wxin Entertainment and the client.
