WXin Entertainment is a sole-trader entertainment business providing DJ, sound and lighting services for events. We want our services to be accessible and welcoming to as many people as reasonably possible, including disabled customers and guests.

We recognise that people may have different accessibility requirements, and we are happy to discuss individual requirements before an event so that reasonable adjustments can be considered and arrangements can be made where possible.

Our Services

WXin Entertainment can provide:

DJ and music services
Sound and PA equipment
Event lighting
Other entertainment-related equipment and services where available
Additional services through third-party hire providers, where requested, such as photo booths and similar services

If you require an additional service that WXin Entertainment does not provide directly, I can discuss your requirements and, where practical, look into suitable external hire options.

Disability & Reasonable Adjustments

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility requirements relating to the services we provide.

Customers are encouraged to discuss any requirements with me as early as possible before their event. This allows sufficient time to consider what adjustments may be appropriate and, where necessary, discuss them with the venue or other suppliers.

Examples of adjustments may include:

Removing or reducing lighting effects where these could present a problem for someone with photosensitive epilepsy or another condition affected by flashing or rapidly changing lights.
Adjusting the positioning or use of equipment where reasonably practical.
Discussing sound levels or other aspects of the entertainment setup where a disability or condition requires consideration.
Providing information or communicating with customers through an alternative method where possible.
Discussing individual requirements in advance rather than expecting customers to manage accessibility issues on the day.

Every event and individual requirement is different, so adjustments will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Where a requested adjustment relates specifically to WXin Entertainment's services or equipment, we will consider what reasonable steps can be taken to accommodate it.

Venue Accessibility

The venue remains responsible for the accessibility of its premises and facilities, including matters such as:

Accessible entrances and exits
Accessible toilets
Accessible parking
Ramps, lifts and other permanent access arrangements
Emergency evacuation arrangements and procedures
The general accessibility and suitability of the venue itself

WXin Entertainment does not control these aspects of a venue. However, where a customer's requirements affect the services or equipment we provide, we are happy to communicate with the customer and, where appropriate, the venue to help coordinate arrangements.

Customers with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to check the venue's accessibility arrangements directly before booking or attending an event.

Lighting & Photosensitivity

Some lighting effects can present a risk or significant discomfort for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other conditions affected by flashing or rapidly changing lights.

If we are informed in advance that a customer or guest may be affected by lighting, we will discuss the available options. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

Removing certain lighting effects
Not using flashing or strobe-style effects
Reducing the use of rapidly changing lighting
Using alternative, more static lighting
Adjusting the lighting setup where reasonably practical

The final arrangement will depend on the equipment being used, the venue and the specific requirements of the event.

Customers should inform me of any relevant condition or requirement as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.

Website Accessibility

The WXin Entertainment website is designed to be accessible across different devices, including computers, tablets and mobile phones.

We recognise that people with visual impairments or other disabilities may experience difficulties using websites depending on their individual needs and the accessibility features available on the website.

We are continuing to consider ways in which the website can be made easier to use, including consideration of features such as clear text, suitable colour contrast, readable layouts, alternative text for relevant images and compatibility with assistive technologies.

If you have difficulty accessing information on the website, please contact us. We will do my best to provide the information through an alternative method where reasonably possible.
